Job Description

The Director of Marketing Data Architecture & Technologies leverages a deep understanding of technologies and application to establish the data strategy and technical constructs that drive RaceTrac’s next-generation Marketing Cloud and Loyalty Solutions. This individual has accountability for the performance, scalability, and quality of our marketing architectures while also leading a Value Stream of cross-functional developers that leverage the solution to provide best-in-class guest experience integrations within our guest channels.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Performs ongoing needs analyses to understand and identify the development of RaceTrac’s Marketing Cloud and Loyalty solutions.
  • Leads cross-functional group of developers delivering channel experiences and loyalty incentives.
  • Manages customer data platform strategy.
  • Helps establish and sustain agile delivery best practices.
  • Acts as Resource Manager to our loyalty and marketing cloud developers.
  • Manages 3rd-Party integration and augmentation partnerships.
  • Acts as Business Relationship Manager to our Marketing department by providing subject matter expertise, estimations, and delivery timelines.
  • Facilitates an effective dialogue between business organizations and the Information Solutions team to ensure business needs are addressed in the right channels.
  • Uses project management methodologies in meetings with internal business partners to determine development needs, scope projects and resources, and plan for high-quality solutions.
  • Performs other ad hoc duties as needed.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ of experience in the IT function with deep understanding of data delivery
  • Minimum 5 years’ of experience managing others/leading a team in an Agile environment
  • Minimum 3 years’ of experience working within the code base of MarTech solutions.
  • Technical acumen in some of the following required; API Gateways, Event-Driven Architectures, Data Migrations, Cloud Computing, Master Data Management, end-to-end MarTech Solutions etc.
  • Experience developing solutions within the some following technologies required: Azure Cloud, Node.js, Java, Active MQ, Redis, Azure Stream Analytics
  • Cloud (Azure, AWS, etc.) and Agile (SAFe, ACP, etc.) certifications preferred
