The Energy Dispatch Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the entirety of the Talent Acquisition process by being responsible for the Energy Dispatch recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers. This individual consistently utilizes their networks to leverage talent and maintains creativity in the recruiting process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for implementing programs for the purpose of improving and sustaining employee engagement and for maintaining exemplary customer service throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruits and staffs top talent for Energy Dispatch.
  • Willing to travel at least 20% of the time.
  • Oversees the full talent acquisition lifecycle for assigned requisites by performing the following duties: sourcing, screening, interviewing, networking, analysis, and offer. Involved in the screening of talent and facilitation of the in-person interview process while providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Makes creativity a part of their personal talent acquisition style, incorporating creative sourcing techniques and being willing to cater the talent acquisition process to Director’s individual needs.
  • Utilizes talent acquisition strategies such as leveraging personal and professional social networks and researching and attending industry-specific events (i.e. Military career fairs & conventions) to identify potential talent. Continually utilizes online acquisition resources and Applicant Tracking System(s) to identify and recruit the best candidates and support a pipeline for future opportunities.
  • Researches recruiting practices to find innovative and creative talent acquisition solutions on a continual basis.
  • Serves as an employee advocate for all employees.
  • Conducts the new hire orientation process and facilitates the onboarding for Energy Dispatch employees
  • Assesses employee engagement and recommends solutions to bridge the gap in areas of opportunities to enhance the employee experience at Energy Dispatch
  • Facilitates engagement programs, works on projects, and brings new ideas to the forefront to enhance employee engagement
  • Completes weekly and monthly reporting related to talent acquisition such as hire statistics, turnover, etc.
  • Exhibits the expected Energy Dispatch culture in all interactions with Directors, Area Managers, and Safety Managers.

Qualifications:

  • MS Office Suite, with intermediate Excel preferred
  • 2 years recruiting experience (drivers a plus)
  • Proven understanding of Human Resources and Legal policies preferred (proficient)
  • PHR SPHR preferred
