Job Description

The Brand Director is responsible for providing strategic direction for the Brand, Creative, and Promotions teams in order to create and maintain a consistent, profitable, and cohesive brand experience for the organization. This individual ensures department objectives align with Marketing objectives as well as the overall RaceTrac Business objectives and strategy. Up to 20% travel required.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Establishes brand goals for RaceTrac.
  • Oversees the teams responsible for developing and maintaining the company brand, including Brand and Promotions.
  • Champions the growth and development of the RaceTrac brand both internally and externally.
  • Leads internal creative services team and relationships with external agency partners.
  • Ensures consistency in brand voice, design, and execution for all customer-facing channels.
  • Drives the strategic direction for RaceTrac's promotions and advertising plans.
  • Facilitates the creation, execution, and evaluation of various marketing initiatives designed to grow RaceTrac's brand and overall profitability.
  • Adopts new ideas, strategic learning, technologies, and approaches.
  • Develops personnel and promotes overall employee development within the organization.
  • Partners with cross-functional internal teams and external marketing firms to collect data and assess the effectiveness of various plans and programs.
  • Works with Insights lead to benchmark and track Marketing trends in order to inform development of new branding initiatives.
  • Oversees the relationship between RaceTrac and external Marketing vendors/firms, including contract negotiations and program performance metrics.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year College or University in Marketing or equivalent experience preferred
  • 7+ years experience in a marketing related field preferred
  • 3+ years experience in a managerial role preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite preferred
