Job Description

The Learning Systems Administrator ("LSA") is the primary administrator for RaceTrac's Learning Management System ("LMS") and associated learning software/content. The LSA acts as an internal consultant to the Talent Development and Learning teams, and makes recommendations on future improvements to content management, workflow processes, and user experience.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Provides day-to-day technical and operational support for LMS and associated learning systems, acting as first-line customer support for end-users
  • Serves as point of contact, and partners with LMS and associated learning software/content vendors to manage the day-to-day administration of all systems needs, including but not limited to content updates, systems updates/releases, user management, and bugs/enhancements
  • Designs, configures, tests, implements and maintains learning resources and reporting functionality within the LMS and associated learning systems
  • Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing data, identifying opportunities and recommending solutions that optimize LMS and associated learning systems to deliver performance that addresses the user experience and organizational objectives
  • Provides ongoing training and support resources for stakeholders/end-users to maximize effective use of the LMS
  • Researches LMS trends and professional awareness of learning systems strategies through ongoing education, networking, and affiliation with professional organizations in order to recommend solutions and perspectives that support business priorities
  • Executes ad hoc administrative and system support for Talent, Performance, & Learning projects as needed


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience supporting an LMS preferred
  • Cornerstone Experience a plus
  • Familiarity with course design and development, learning paths, curriculum development and web design a plus
  • Experience partnering with internal strategic partners and external vendors to enhance the learning experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
