Job Description

The Talent Management Specialist helps drive RaceTrac’s values and philosophy through talent management activities that are strategically linked to the organization’s mission and vision. This individual will support the implementation of and provide on-going support to Talent Management programs that drive company values, increase employee engagement, and accelerate performance to deliver business results. The Talent Management Specialist will also measure the effectiveness of talent and learning tools, processes and programs.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements processes, programs and systems in support of talent management strategy ensuring superior customer experience, effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Supports the Talent team in executing talent management processes including, but not limited to, employee culture surveys, goal setting, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Provides on-going support and recommends process improvements for the organizations onboarding process to ensure a seamless employee experience – including new hire orientation, employee assimilation and any training materials.
  • Supports the organization in creating new job descriptions and updating existing job profiles in Workday.
  • Analyzes and distributes results from various employee surveys including pulse, engagement, stay and exit surveys.
  • Creates surveys and generates reports to evaluate the effectiveness of our Learning initiatives and programming.
  • Maintains strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, HR Leadership, and vendors to identify and implement new, innovative solutions.
  • Serves as the point of contact for troubleshooting system issues for all Talent and Performance tasks and processes in Workday.
  • Works with HRIS resources to conduct research, determine project scope and test new talent and performance processes in Workday.
  • Performs any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience required
  • 0-4 years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Development or Human Resources preferred
  • Superior interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to professionally interface with all levels of the business including senior executives
  • High attention to detail at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with minimal daily oversight
  • Strong project management and analytical skills preferred
  • Flexible team player who actively seeks to contribute to the success of the team and organization in a positive manner
  • Experience working with a Human Capital Management (HCM) system preferred (Workday, ADP, Kronos, etc.)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
